Kissing The Flint premiere music video project
Deepwater musical duo Kissing The Flint have produced two videos for songs on their debut EP Unconditionality, and will be sharing them for the first time at Crow Street Creative on Friday, September 13.
Leah and Ken Chynoweth-Tidy worked with Gladstone region filmographer Wezley Pitts and Photophia Studio’s William Debois over two days at various sites around Deepwater, Rules Beach and Baffle Creek.
Their project, funded by the Gladstone Regional Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund, aimed to promote ongoing positivity in the recovery process following the major bushfires that tore through Deepwater in 2018.
Unconditionality producer Dave Beacon from High Lion Studios was delighted to make his acting debut alongside Kissing The Flint and local Deepwater resident Wyatt Katt. The shoot provided plenty of fun and more than a few laugh-out-loud moments throughout.
Kissing The Flint will premiere their two music videos to the public and perform a live music set at Crow Street Creative in Gladstone from 6-7pm on Friday night, 13 September 2019. All are welcome to come along to this public event to support original music and the variety of Gladstone region businesses within Crow Street’s vibrant creative precinct. Delicious food, licensed bar and artistic activities plus live music will guarantee a great night out!
