I heard you like books about history, so I put a library inside your museum...

Good news, book lovers of Marlborough: the new library opens on Monday, May 21.  It's inside the Railway Station building at the Marlborough Museum, upgraded to include all the mod cons a library deserves like air conditioning and wifi.

Conveniently timed for Library and Information Week, the official opening is Monday from 9:30am, with a free event for the whole community.

Looks like there might even be some public art to go with it, in keeping with the Livingstone Shire's colourful public facilities:
